Risk Assessment!!

Costume!!

The costume for the scenes my group are filming is easy to recreate. 

Younger Jessie just wears a dark baseball jacket and a Backpack, each of which will be supplied by Faith and Ellie respectively.

Props!!

We need quite a few props for our filming. Below is a list of props we need with pictures.

Balloons: 
These will be stuck on sticks and used as the solar system that Jessie knocks over whilst she is in a rage.

Home Made Film Camera: 
This will be made by us using a cereal box, it is used during the school hall section of the video.

Actors!!

My group and I will all be taking part as the actors in the video. 

Myself, Joe and Toby will be playing the role of the people in the corridor.

Faith, our team leader will play the duel role of the lady in the lunch room and one of the girls that laugh at the younger Jessie.

Ellie will be playing the part of the cleaner when Jessie is in the school hall.

And the main role of Jessie has gone to Laura, as she has the most acting experience in the group.

The Music Video!

The video the 2 groups have been given to recreate is Jessie J's Who's Laughing Now. As it is filmed in a school it will be relatively easy for us to do it shot by shot because we'll be able to film during our lessons and after school.

11th June-Lesson One!

Today, the 11th June 2013, marked my return to my Media A Level course.

We were told what we were going to be doing over the next few months, and for the remaining 6 weeks of year 12 we will be working in 2 groups recreating a music video, in preparation for our A2 coursework which we will commence in September 2013. 

My group consists of myself, Ellie Topp, Faith Roberts, James Allsopp, Laura Bryan, Toby Charlesworth and Joe Fox.

In lesson we were told to recreate a music video shot by shot, and the track selected was specific to us as it is filmed in a school, meaning our group can recreate the video during lesson time and after school as we only have 6 weeks to film and edit.
